Another recent report from the teams at Blackrock, Bloomberg and Lipper show that in the last 90 years the chances of losing money on a stock investment went from 37% down to 5% as you held the investment from a month to a ten year period. Of note is that this is the entire stock market, which includes all the companies that were having great earnings, and those that were in the process of going out of business.

DLK’s Quality Investment Process (QIP) is run by our investment management team to identify the industry sectors that are well positioned and then to invest in the companies that are the strongest in those industries. This process does not keep us from the fluctuations that occur during a month or a quarter, but over time our process allows our clients to take less risk than the average stock in the market while still growing.
